A couple years ago we ran across a seed called a Luffa Gourd. What is a Luffa Gourd you might ask. It is a Vegetable that is in the Cucumber family and if you let it grow large enough and it dry's out properly, you will have a Luffa Sponge to use in the shower or to clean dirty dishes. It's truly amazing what you can grow in your own garden. Had no idea what a hit they would be. We sold out in two days. They made excellent Christmas Gifts. So, this year I have started 6 plants from seed, so I have enough to go along with the soaps or sell on there own. I have processed 40 Luffa's as of 9/30/25.

During the winter months, We decided to start making soap to go along with the Luffa that we grew in the garden.
There are many different scents to choose from. I also make up gift bags to give away at Christmas for $10 each. They include a bar of soap and a Luffa or a shower caddy.
This gift bag was made for a Wedding Shower thank you gift from the bride.
I do sell out of them quickly.
